Welcome to the SOM Training Band, founded in August 2023, a Saxophone Ensemble aimed at players who are grade 1 - 3 standard. We hope to build a friendly and welcoming beginners’ group that will help you improve your saxophone playing and ensemble skills.

Rehearsal Times: 6.45pm - 7.345pm (arrival from 6.15pm)

Location: Poynton Royal British Legion, St George’s Road West, SK12 1JY

Subs: £52 for the current term.

If you’ve never played at a SOM event before, your first rehearsal is free. If you join part way through the term, your subs will be at a reduced rate.

When players feel ready they can progress from the the Training Band into the SOMonthly Group.
